Out of Focus: As if it's not enough to be the big example of Adaptational Wimp in this franchise, Skater Cookie also gets less screen time than GingerBright to the point he never appears in spin-offs!.Implausible Boarding Skills: While it's a traditional skateboard, the fact that he takes it with him over all the treacherous terrain the Cookies traverse qualifies him.Hidden Depths: Besides his love for skateboarding, Skater Cookie likes to ski as well! ◊.Eye-Obscuring Hat: His eyes are always hidden by his cap.Cool Board: Shaped like a candy cane and, apparently, limited edition.

Adapted Out: For one reason or another, Skater Cookie is no longer present at all in the current version of the wraparound story of GingerBrave's Tale like he was in the original version.Though his ability remains unchanged, the speed of Ovenbreak is noticeably slower than LINE Cookie Run, so while he's still the fastest, he's not as fast. Made even worse when compared to the likes of other A-Ranked Cookies like him being transferred as the Ovenbreak-equivalent rank as Rare! * The sole exception of this is Coffee Cookie, who isn't even in Ovenbreak. In terms of rank, he gets hit with this harder than Strawberry, as he too is Common.Adaptational Wimp: Hoo boy, where to start. In both LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak, he moves a bit faster than all of the other Cookies. Originally, he used to be a member of GingerBrave's group of friends in the original version of GingerBrave's Tale, but is now currently MIA for reasons unexplained in the new version of said tale.

With each run, the player gains more XP until reaching the maximum level, 50. Instead of energy drain, the game finishes when the player crashes into obstacles twice, or more if extra shields are equipped. Another change from OvenBreak is the lack of an energy meter. Collecting all the letters in BONUS 3 times allows the player to enter a bonus mode, similar to Bonus Time in future games.

Replacing the “ FREEDOM” points multiplier from OvenBreak is “BONUS”. Gameplay consists of picking one of multiple cookies (known in this game as Breakers) and pressing “Jump” and “Slide” buttons to avoid obstacles (the “Hook” button from OvenBreak is absent). The game mode contained 6 locations, which were early versions of LINE’s Escape from the Oven episode. The game has a leaderboard system similar to the one found in LINE and Kakao Cookie Run, where players can compete for the highest score against friends. Unlike its predecessor OvenBreak, which featured multiple different game modes, OvenBreak 2 features a single game mode which is simply to score the most points.
